Meet the team: Rich Furniss

We want you to meet the team behind Time To ACT. As a business our group board are extremely honoured to have Rich Furniss as a Non Exec Director.

An electrical engineer by profession, Rich has enjoyed an international career with a wide variety of corporate roles: in a 23-year career with GEC / Alstom / Converteam leading engineering teams, major projects and businesses; and then, having decided to focus his career on solutions to the climate crisis, 9-years with major wind OEM, Nordex – the latter 5 leading their business in the UK and Ireland.

Since 2018 he has been an independent consultant and NED working across the energy transition, and a Trustee of climate action charity Possible www.wearepossible.org

Rich is also passionate about the outdoors and his local community – particularly engaged as Chair of Marple Runners, a running coach, a race organiser and a run director at Marple junior parkrun.
